Profinity IMAC 介質是一種用于純化帶有多 His 標簽的重組蛋白 ( His–tagged proteins ) 的親和介質。IMAC 是一種非常有效的分離技術，它利用組氨酸能夠與金屬離子發生親和作用的原理對蛋白質加以分離。Profinity IMAC 介質以UNOsphere™ 為基質，含有作為二價、三價金屬離子螯合配位體的亞氨基二乙酸 ( IDA )。當配位體結合有 Zn2+、Ni2+或 Cu2+等金屬離子時，含組氨酸的蛋白會與此層析介質結合。
